This Brass Band is a recent orchester supervised by William T.M., a student of 21 years old. This set has a great quality, it includes many music teacher, and that's why the level is high whereas other sets I play in. A brass band is an set which gathered a precise strenght between of 27 and 30 musicians. As the name of this kind of music set shows, a Brass Band is a set with the brass family. (The trumpet, the buggle, the tuba, the trombone...). But there are also percussionists in this kind of set.
The brass band comes from the Great Britain, and It's not ordinary to have one in the Oise. Our first concert was on friday 5th april 2013 at the Ziquodrôme of Compiègne, our second concert was in Drancy (near Paris) in a huge concert hall, for a music festival called "Harmonieusement vôtre", where differents musics sets played 5 or 6 pieces, and this was a jury. And the Brass band of the Oise won this "competition"! We won an entire concert in a concert hall (for free) in Drancy too, it will be on october 2013 !
